On The Course June 13th

Corey and Troy have been pumping water from the low areas.
Over 1.5 inches of rain yesterday and thankfully the heavy rain missed us. Unfortunately the amount of rain we received on the already saturated course forced us to close the course yesterday. Troy and Corey have been running the trash pumps moving water out of the low areas. The crew will be working on bunkers this morning and we will be walk mowing greens later this morning. Troy will be setting the course up for the Invitational practice round later today. We have a 1:30pm shotgun and will be cart path only all day.

The helicopter seeds from the Maple trees are dropping and the Cottonwoods are sending fluffy white seeds all over the course. We will be blowing some of these areas today but hopefully we get a little wind to help move some of the seeds off the trees so it won't be a mess too long. There is a chance that we will be doing some late evening mowing as soon as the course drains. We were able to get all of the fairways mowed yesterday morning before the rain. Most of the rough was mowed on Tuesday but we will need to start mowing again.

I really did take this picture today! Sun is going to shine today.
