On The Course March 29th

Great day today getting covers off of the course. We had some great help from Corey Heasley and Crew (Fox Hollow), Troy Tschida (Theodore Wirth Golf Club) and Dale Hierbert and Crew (Rush Creek Golf Club). The crew worked from 6:30am until 8:00pm to uncover and move excelsior covers off of the golf course. The greens are looking really good and we even were able to single cut them. We will continue with some cleanup work Wednesday depending on the weather. Rain in the forecast and could be a dreary day.

On The Course March 28th

NEW BLOG POST FOR 2016
I will be trying to get more information on the blog this golf season to keep everyone up to speed on the projects going on throughout the golf course.

#1 green is looking great!
We are starting to pull covers off of the Championship Course this week. The crew started pulling staples off of the covers this morning as they were still a little wet. They have dried off enough this afternoon to start rolling covers. The crew was able to get a couple greens uncovered and the above picture shows that they are in great shape. We have good weather tomorrow and will continue to uncover greens and move them off the golf course.

The range and executive course has been open for play and they are starting to dry out. We have received a little rain over the weekend and we are expecting some more rain on Wednesday. The new Maintenance Facility is starting to take shape and we will be moving in shortly. The excavating company will be working on the subgrade around the building tomorrow.
