The last couple of mornings have been very cool and the turf is starting to respond. Club Championship week has started off with some very wet conditions but over the past 24 hours the course is starting to shape up again. We were able to get the fairways mowed twice yesterday and they have cleaned up pretty good with the exception of a few areas. We are mowing fairways again today and will be blowing clippings off later this morning. Greens are being mowed, rolled and sprayed today. Next Monday we will be topdressing and venting greens.
Next week we will continue to work on some of the damaged fairway areas by aerifying and overseeding. We have a few trouble areas that have given us a good challenge this year and we have identified them as areas that we will be working on this fall.
