A couple little rain showers overnight with us picking up another 0.1" of rain. The wind yesterday help dry some of the moisture from the rain but the course is still pretty soft. We are rolling greens today and spraying fairways. We are spraying fairways with some fertilizer and a fungicide for Dollar Spot. The fertilizer will help with some growth and get the turfgrass plant ready for winter.
We will finish backfilling the trench behind 13 green and you should see a nice addition to #13 later today or tomorrow. Fernando is out on #11 with the solid tine aerifier getting to work on the fairway. That will only leave us #7, 5 and 10 for next week and then our fall aerification will be done. We will continue to verticut and topdress approaches and some fairways but this process should be minimally disruptive to golf.
