We are fixing a drainage pipe on #7

 We are rolling greens this morning and raking bunkers. It looks like it will be a little overcast this morning but the sun should start to peak through this afternoon. We have a pretty extensive project going on at the start of #7 fairway. The 24" drain tile that drains most of the lower holes frost heaves and moves a little every year. This spring when the pipe settle it cracked an irrigation line that was put in under the pipe. There are several other issues with this area and we have decided to re-route some irrigation lines and reset the drainage pipe. This will fix most of the problems with this area and we will be covering the pipe with some more fill material so it does not frost heave as bad. There was only a couple of inches of soil on top of the pipe and that allowed it to heave significantly. We will be picking up some pipe on Monday and hope to have everything backfilled Tuesday and ready for sod.
