We are mowing and rolling greens this morning. With a current temperature of 56 degrees it feels wonderful outside. Should make for a great day to finish the Senior and Women's Club Championship. Good luck to all of the participants! Troy is setting the course up for the Championship this morning and we will be watching the final groups finish the tournament.
We have a pretty busy week ahead of us for maintenance on the golf course. We will be needle tining several greens on the Championship course to help get some air into the soil profile. The greens are also due for a fertilizer application Monday. We have several lingering irrigation issues that we will be dealing with and with the cooler temperatures I would expect the turfgrass to start loving life after the heat stretch we have had.
