Monday we were able to get all of the greens sprayed with fertilizer and a wetting agent. The wetting agent should help keep the surfaces of the greens drier with the forecasted rain over the next few days. Brandon will be finishing spraying fertilizer and wetting agent on all of the fairways this morning. He was able to get through most of the course yesterday and will be finishing 15 and 18 fairways today. Sheldon was able to get the fairway clean up pass areas Vertidrained yesterday and Ron is work on rolling out any tufted areas.
Jason, Fernando and Joel are working on planting the Regal Prince Oaks along the entrance road. The American Linden that are currently along the entrance will be overgrowing the driveway over the next couple of years. We want the Oaks to get established and growing before the need comes to remove some of the Lindens. We have removed some trees over the winter but are always looking for good areas to add trees that will not affect the playability and agronomics of the golf course. We want to remove a few in areas that we have trouble with turf conditions. On the left side of #14 fairway we removed several trees this past winter to help get some turf established in the areas where it is currently bare soil.

We have started to work on finishing the bare soil area on the Executive Course. The soil has been too wet to work on this spring. We are going to try to get most of the finish grade done today and hopefully get it seeded later this week. This all depends on the weather and how much rain we get this evening. We will be moving the tee markers on Holes #1 and #2 to areas that will make the bare area out of play for several weeks. Once the area is seed we want to keep all foot traffic off of the area until we are able to get the grass mowed and grown in.
